The Appendix is More Than an Appendix: the Rest of the Story

For years, people have been taught that the appendix is a "vestigial organ," an body part rendered unnecessary because of supposed biological evolution. I remember sharing with someone in the medical community that some research actually showed that the appendix does has a purpose. This person was surprised, but maybe this article was convincing: "Scientists think they know what appendix is for: Making and protecting good germs" appeared in our local paper this past Saturday. So, it appears that the appendix is much more than an appendix! It reflects God's design and demonstrates that we are indeed "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). It would appear that He knew what He was doing after all!
